GM of the Packers, Brian Gutekunst, is present at Wisconsin Pro Day…………………
Under general manager Brian Gutekunst, the Green Bay Packers have had an active offseason. Xavier McKinney and Josh Jacobs are two free agents who the team has spent over $100 million on, and Gutekunst has been insistent about getting the players he wants. Taking this approach on the scouting trail, Gutekunst has gained some experience at pro days that the Green Bay Packers would find interesting.

In order to gain a better sense of these prospects, general manager Gutekunst visited the Wisconsin pro day. The
Wisconsin Badgers have an exciting group of prospects available in the NFL Draft for the Packers to select from.

The Packers may be interested in the running back prospect that the Baders have, given the uncertainty surrounding the team’s running back room even with the addition of Jacobs. Many evaluators have running back Braelon Allen close to the top of their draft boards for the position. The 6-foot-2, 240-pound running back, who is 20 years old, would flourish behind the potent Green Bay offensive line. With back-to-back seasons with the Badgers, Allen nearly amassed over 1,000 yards; his abilities have made the NFL take attention.
“I have a downhill running style and a lot of physicality to offer. a more traditional approach, but I can also run routes, pass protect, and catch the ball, and I believe those skills are very valuable. At the NFL Scouting Combine, Allen stated, “Just being versatile.” “It goes without saying that there are many things I want to improve on and become more consistent at, but I still have a long way to go before I’m fully developed because I’m young.” I’m a fantastic player in the proper system, in the right environment.
Allen’s skills and perseverance are probably high on the Packers draft board. Tanor Bortalini, an interior offensive lineman from Wisconsin, is another athlete who would be of interest to the organization. At the NFL Scouting Combine, Bortalini showed up well enough for the Packers, recording a nearly flawless Relative Athletic Score of 9.97.
The Packers are expected to keep a close eye on the Wisconsin Badgers come draft day due to their needs at running back and offensive line depth.
