DE Jadeveon Clowney Ex Raven Player bit fit for Dolphins…………………..
After more than a week of free agency, the most of the names we anticipated to be gone by now have. However, this does not imply that there aren’t any good players available who are just waiting to be signed by a team in need.
The Baltimore Ravens have lost a great deal of quality, but part of it has already been replaced.
Teams will have one more chance to add names and fill important positions on both sides of the ball in April’s NFL Draft. Existing free agents, however, are hoping to find houses before then.
Recently, ESPN’s Bill Barnwell made a list of the top teams to sign the 20 unsigned free agents, and Jadeveon Clowney was included.

The reason he’s still open: Clowney’s inconsistency in play and considerable injury history have prevented him from signing multiyear contracts. Bill O’Brien franchised-tagged the 2014 No. 1 pick before dealing him to the Seahawks after he completed his rookie contract and fifth-year option with the Texans. With the Seahawks, Titans, and Browns, Clowney has completed one-year contracts; however, his successful 2021 season did not translate into the same outcomes after he signed a one-season contract in 2022.
Dolphins from Miami fit best. Though it’s unlikely that the 31-year-old will secure a multiyear contract this late in the free agency process, Clowney shouldn’t have to wait until August to sign a new contract. Considering his history of knee problems, it could be preferable for him to play on a natural grass field; in fact, the Titans, Browns, and Ravens, who all play on natural grass, are the teams with whom he has recently signed deals.
After making an impression the previous season, the Ravens ought to think about bringing Clowney back. In addition, Ravens coach John Harbaugh, who met Clowney’s agent at the NFL Scouting Combine, mentioned how pleased Clowney seemed at the close of the season.
During the combine, Harbaugh said to Garrett Downing of baltimoreravens.com, “I just ran into the agent for Jadeveon Clowney.” He grabbed me as I was strolling down the street, and I told him I loved him. “What do you think?” I said. This year, how did he fare? “This is the first year he’s ended the season happy,” he remarks. That alone says a great deal. It speaks volumes about everything and everyone within the company. Perhaps we can win him back. We will give it a shot.
At the conclusion of the season, Clowney expressed his enjoyment at returning to play football in Baltimore.
I did love going to work, as I mentioned. This year, it really made my life easier,” Clowney remarked during the locker room clean-out. “I think the reason I performed well was because I was under no pressure.” I would just walk in, play ball, have fun, and be myself.
