The Oregon Ducks are well-positioned to carry over their recruiting momentum into the 2025 cycle as they continue to chase elite talent.
Michael Fasusi, a 5-star offensive tackle, is one of the highly sought-after players on their radar. He seemed eager to learn more about Dan Lanning’s program in Eugene.
Fasusi recently revealed his ranking of the top seven universities on Monday, and the Ducks earned a highly sought-after slot. Fasusi is considering possibilities from Georgia, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, USC, Texas, and Missouri in addition to Oregon.
At 6-foot-4 and 285 pounds, Fasusi has remarkable credentials. The 247Sports Composite ranks him as the second-best offensive tackle in the class of 2025 and as the 11th overall player in the 2025 class.
Presumably, Fasusi is genuinely interested in what the Ducks have to offer because he has set aside April 17th for a visit to Oregon.
Under Dan Lanning’s direction, Oregon’s recruiting efforts have shown promise, as exceptional players like A’lique Terry have led the offensive line in the last few seasons after Adrian Klemm’s departure.
All eyes will be on Oregon to see if they can add another big player to strengthen their ranks in the trenches as the recruiting season progresses.
