Safety Cody Haddad, who made a commitment to the Wisconsin Badgers earlier in the season, has declared his intention to decommit.
Cleveland, Ohio Cody Haddad, a safety and athlete for St. Ignatius, has de-committed from Wisconsin.
He said he wants to check out what other colleges have to offer after visiting Ohio State recently.
Haddad, who visited Ohio State a few weeks ago, is from Cleveland, Ohio. No one should hold Wisconsin responsible for Haddad’s departure from the Badgers. Haddad’s Ohioan heritage doesn’t help either, since practically every young Ohioan hopes to play basketball for the Buckeyes someday.

Haddad is a three-star recruit who is rated as the 33rd best athlete in the nation and the 15th top recruit in Ohio by 247sports.com.
The Badgers are losing players off the field to Ohio State, a team they are accustomed to losing to on the football field. The Badgers must ensure that this does not continue, since they will not be able to compete in the new Big Ten and risk losing key players to rival Big Ten programs that could surprise them on the field.
