The Browns are considering developing a young quarterback. Before this week’s draft, former Tennessee quarterback Joe Milton paid a visit to Cleveland, as reported by ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
The twenty-four-year-old Milton attended Michigan from 2018 to 2020 before relocating to Tennessee in 2021. He completed 2,813 yards of passing for the Volunteers in 2023, with 20 touchdowns and five interceptions.
Milton possesses good arm strength, despite being considered a candidate for the third round of the draft. He demonstrated this in the scouting combine drills when he completed a 70-yard pass.
The Browns presently have Jameis Winston, Tyler Huntley, and Dorian Thompson-Robinson among their quarterbacks in addition to starting quarterback Deshaun Watson.
