Ivisic, a huge man from Kentucky, supposedly enters gateway
According to 24/7 High School Hoops, Zvonimir Ivisic, a freshman big man from Kentucky, has logged into the transfer site.
Expectations for the highly sought-after center would be that he will follow his old coach, John Calipari, to Fayetteville.
Ivisic, a 7-2, 234-pound player from Vodice, Croatia, was cleared to play for the Wildcats on January 20 and only participated in the second half of the campaign.
During the season, he averaged 5.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in just 11 minutes per game.
Ivisic, who will turn 21 in August, led his native Croatia to victory in the FIBA U20 European Championship, averaging 11.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.4 blocks per game while shooting 34% from three-point range.
He wasn’t rated by any of the four major recruiting services for the 2023 class because he was an overseas candidate.
Following his debut performance against Georgia on January 20, where he scored 13 points, grabbed five rebounds, disheveled two assists, stole two steals, and blocked three shots in 16 minutes of action, Yahoo Sports draft expert Krysten Peek projected him as a potential lottery choice in the 2024 Draft.
He led the Bulldogs to a 105-96 victory by making 5 of 7 field goals and 3 of 4 three-pointers.
On March 2, Ivisic led his team to a 111-102 victory at home against Arkansas with 12 points, 9 rebounds, 2 blocked shots, an assist, and a steal.
