The Pittsburgh Steelers currently lack depth at several spots, including wide receiver and center of attack. Although Pittsburgh hasn’t expressed much interest in centers, the front office has been quite busy selecting wide receivers.
We began to consider how excellent a fit Courtland Sutton would be if the Steelers acquired him after learning that the wide receiver for the Denver Broncos isn’t showing up for workouts.
#Broncos WR Courtland Sutton did not report Monday for voluntary workouts as he seeks a new contract, per source.
Sutton is going on his 10th starting QB in seven seasons and has only $2 million guaranteed left on his deal. He had 10 TDs in 2023 while ranking 56th in targets. pic.twitter.com/93rA35XdM4

Sutton was one of new Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson’s favorite targets throughout the previous two seasons of passing. Sutton still has plenty of game left to start opposite George Pickens after catching ten touchdown passes in the previous campaign.
After dealing away Diontae Johnson, the Steelers added Van Jefferson, Quez Watkins, and Cordarrelle Patterson in free agency; however, none of them give the team much hope for the near or distant future.
