Cincinnati made a tight end tap. Erick All Jr. from Iowa with U.
The Cincinnati Bengals selected not one, but two tight ends in the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Bengals selected Iowa tight end Erick All Jr., dubbed Tight End University, with pick No. 115.
All, a Fairfield native, is returning home to play football professionally for the Bengals.
Additionally, since Cincinnati selected Drew Sample in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, All is the first tight end to be selected by the Bengals.
Last season, the newest tight end for the Bengals participated in seven games and recorded 21 receptions for 299 yards and three touchdowns.
The former Hawkeye is recovering from an ACL injury and has seen a couple additional health setbacks throughout his time in college.
If All is healthy, though, ESPN’s Louis Riddick is all in, stating, “If he’s healthy, you have the next George Kittle-type tight end.”
At tight end, Joe Burrow gets his first rookie, and All will partner with Mike Gesicki to inject some fire into that position in the upcoming campaign.
All burst out laughing when asked what it’s like to catch passes from Joe Burrow, remarking, “That is crazy just hearing that.” We’re going to win the Super Bowl, that much is clear,” he declared, as reported by Paul Dehner.
