In response to criticism of Ronda Rousey’s disclosure of her concussion, Daniel Cormier defends her, saying, “All she’s doing is telling her truth.”
Ronda Rousey achieved a lot in mixed martial arts, as everyone is aware. She was a force to be reckoned with, from women’s MMA to her general domination and celebrity power. Unfortunately, because of some of her previous remarks, sports fans have demonised her on multiple occasions.
Cormier’s crass ideas
According to Cormier, “only Ronda is aware of the concussions,” MMA Junkie Radio said. The only error, in my opinion, that she made if she was suffering from these kinds of injuries was disclosing it later. In addition, because no one is certain if Ronda suffered concussions, I will say this in her favour: People have always wanted to criticise her, even if it was unfair. It was as if everyone rejoiced when she lost to Holly. Even though she was winning those bouts, they felt like everything was provided to her. She was thrashing people. When she returned and lost to Amanda (Nunes at UFC 207) in the manner that she did, everyone rejoiced and exclaimed, “To hell with Ronda, go.”
“I am aware of how challenging this sport can be, having competed at the Olympic level in throwing and all other areas of the room. Man, it’s hard. The number of concussions I’ve undoubtedly had in my life is too numerous for me to count. In the end, only she is aware. Since all she’s doing is expressing her truth, I don’t disagree with her as much as some people might.
