Less than 100 days remain until the Alabama Crimson Tide football programme kicks up the 2024 campaign, but the University of Alabama released the kickoff time for the first game on Tuesday morning.
The Crimson Tide will take on the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers in Bryant-Denny Stadium on August 31 at 6 p.m. CT in their inaugural game. ESPN will broadcast the match.
After three meetings between Alabama and Western Kentucky, the Crimson Tide has prevailed in each encounter. In three games played in Tuscaloosa, Alabama defeated the Hilltoppers 38-10 in 2016, 35-0 in 2012, and 41-7 in 2008.
With this release, start times have been determined for three of Alabama’s twelve regular season games.
Kickoff timings for the remaining non-conference games against South Florida and Mercer will probably be announced in the coming weeks, while broadcast partners will select the kickoff times for the Southeastern Conference games week by week.
