Caitlin Clark opens out to Indiana Fever about her true emotions following her trying WNBA debut.
The whole athletic community has been waiting months to find out if Caitlin Clark is ready to move up to the WNBA. The rookie for the Indiana Fever opened up about how difficult her first professional game was after her debut against the Connecticut Sun.
During her four years as an Iowa Hawkeyes player in college, Clark established herself before joining the Women’s National Basketball Association. The guard gained notoriety throughout his tenure by developing into a potent scorer. She ultimately created history by surpassing Pete Maravich’s previous mark to take the NCAA scoring lead all-time.

But things didn’t go as planned for Clark’s senior year of college, as the Hawkeyes lost to the South Carolina Gamecocks in the championship round. Nevertheless, the Indiana Fever chose the Iowa standout with the first pick in the WNBA Draft, and she went first. She joined a distinguished group of rookies that include Cameron Brink of the Los Angeles Sparks and Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky, who are expected to propel the WNBA to new heights of popularity.
Fans and critics alike are eager to see how she performs in the WNBA after her incredible collegiate career propelled her to notoriety. Additionally, she believed Clark was ready to play after a few preseason games.

Clark scored 20 points despite shooting just 5 of 15 from the field. Her 10 turnovers were also a record for the most made by a rookie in their WNBA debut, a fact that marred the Fever star’s maiden professional game.
