NFL CHANGE
Among the 2024 draft class’s more multifaceted safety prospects is Taylor-Demerson. Because of his alignment versatility and characteristics profile, he is among the greatest overall. Not only can he play slot corner in off-coverage, but he also has the play speed and range to play post safety.
Taylor-Demerson competed fiercely throughout the game. His play speed and pursuit range to make plays from sideline to sideline were what always impressed out. As a tackler, he demonstrated his physical toughness.
Teams will be wondering if he can match up with wide receivers in the slot in twins and trips arrangements, or if he is primarily a back-end safety who plays single-high and two-shell coverages. That resolve will be very helpful in demonstrating his worth and application. In an NFL defense, he becomes a highly valuable asset if he can match wide receivers in the slot.
