Greetings, Kings Community and Teammates.
Upon starting this writing, I am overwhelmed with pride and thankfulness for each and every one of you. It’s been a journey filled with hardships, victories, and a ton of experiences that I will always treasure.
I would want to sincerely thank all of my teammates. Our relationship has grown stronger with each practice, game, and locker room experience. We constantly challenge one another to improve, and it is this unwavering determination and cohesion that characterizes us as a group. We are formidable on the ice because of the diversity of talent and enthusiasm that everyone of you brings to the table.
Your steadfast support and direction, management and coaching staff, have been priceless. Even during our worst moments, you never lost faith in us, and your foresight cleared the path for our achievements. The foundation of this organization is your commitment to helping us grow as professionals and cultivating a winning mindset.
You are the Los Angeles Kings’ lifeblood in the eyes of the supporters. Your devotion and zeal are unparalleled. Your applause gives us strength whether we’re playing at home or away. Your enthusiasm gives us the drive to succeed, to work even harder, and to never give up. We appreciate your support at both good times and bad.
To the whole Kings community—including the staff members who work in the background—we really appreciate your efforts, which frequently go unappreciated. Every one of you is essential to our success as a team, from the medical staff that keeps an eye on our health to the media team that tells our story.
We’ve left a legacy together, but our work is far from over. We are going to keep pushing ourselves to be the best, honoring the privilege of donning this jersey, and bringing more recognition to our community.
Cheers to many more successes and treasured memories.
With appreciation and resolve,
Anže Kopitar
