Baylor Signs Three-Star Quarterback. Edward Griffin
Edward Griffin, a three-star quarterback in the Class of 2025, chose Baylor over UTEP, McNeese State, UTSA, Marshall, and North Texas based on his X.

Last season, the Coppell, Texas native led Coppell High School to a 12-1 record and was given the unanimous overall District 6-6A MVP. He passed for 3,556 yards and 48 touchdowns, per SicEm365.
Griffin is the sixth player from the Class of 2025 to commit to Boston University.
The Bears struggled in the 2023 season, finishing 11th in the Big 12 with an overall record of 3-9, their fewest victories in a season since 2020.
Its three victories were over Long Island, UCF, and Cincinnati. Despite the team’s struggles, quarterback Blake Shapen had a respectable junior season, accumulating 2,188 yards and 13 touchdowns with only three interceptions.
Heading into Aranda’s fifth year as Baylor’s head coach, the Bears have only had one winning season, in 2021, when he guided the club to a 12-2 record and a Big 12 championship.
