Christian Jones, an Omaha Westside four-star linebacker, has received an offer from USC football. He has a visit scheduled for June 7-9. Jones will visit Los Angeles on those days as the Trojans aim to increase recruiting and rebuild depth in their program and defense.
Jones is a four-star linebacker from Omaha. He is currently regarded as Nebraska’s No. 1 prospect for 2025.
Last season, the 6-3, 215-pound athlete recorded 69 tackles, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, three sacks, and one interception. In one offense, he had 20 receptions for 548 yards and nine touchdowns as a tight end, but he is projected to play linebacker at the next level.
Jones has also received offers from Nebraska, Auburn, Wisconsin, Missouri, Oklahoma, Iowa, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.
Linebacker coach Matt Entz hopes to develop Jones into a next-level prospect at USC. Entz is on the Trojans’ staff not only as a quality instructor, but also as someone who can travel to the Midwest, where he formerly coached at North Dakota State, and recruit from there.
