2025 Corneback Last weekend, Aydan West had a great time in West Virginia on his official visit.
Aydan West, a 6’0″, 180-pound cornerback from Gaithersburg, Maryland, was among several defensive backs who paid a formal visit to West Virginia over the weekend, and like a number of them, he came away from Morgantown impressed.
“We had a great visit,” West said to Mountaineers Now. “I wanted to see how the players interacted with each other and how Morgantown as a whole was.” Normally, I can just go to the school, but this time, I was able to explore the town.
“I really like the business school on campus. I could totally see myself at WVU because of how loving the student body is. They believe that if I support what they are doing, I may have an instant influence. They are aware of my versatility as a back half player. I came away with a good idea of how they regard my place in the defense.
This weekend, West is expected to send an official to Virginia, who looks to be WVU’s main rival in the race. Wake Forest, Penn State, Cincinnati, Duke, and more are still in the running.
It is likely that a decision will be made after his last visit.
