Fresno State Football Signs 2025 Quarterback Recruit from Union City
Jonathan Craft, a three-star quarterback prospect and 2025 recruit, committed to the Fresno State Bulldogs Wednesday. Craft, a 6’2″ 170-pound signal caller from Union City, California, attends James Logan High School.
Craft choose the Bulldogs over rumoured offers from Portland State and Northern Arizona.
Craft is Fresno State’s second quarterback commit in the 2025 recruiting class. Brayden Turner, a three-star recruit from Danville, California, also committed this month.
Craft and Turner will join a quarterback room now anchored by UCF transfer Mikey Keene, who has two years of eligibility remaining, including this season. In 2023, Keene completed 283 of 422 passes for 2976 yards, with 24 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He also recorded one rushing touchdown in his first season with the Bulldogs’ football team.
Fresno State finished 9-3 last season, including a victory in the New Mexico Bowl. Jeff Tedford is in his sixth season as head coach of the programme, and his third in a row.
On December 4, 2024, recruits for the 2025 class will have their first opportunity to sign with their respective schools.
