Texas is one of On3’s best college football offensive line teams for 2024.
In terms of offensive line play, Texas might field the best team in NCAA football in 2024.
Leading the group is standout left tackle Kelvin Banks, who many predict will be selected among the first five picks in the NFL draft of 2025. Jake Majors, the centre, and the other offensive line veterans are back for the Longhorns.
Texas’s offensive line is ranked second in the country going into the 2024 season, only behind LSU, according to Jesse Simonton of On3.
Will Campbell and Kelvin Banks, a left tackle for the Longhorns, are vying for the title of greatest offensive tackle in college football this autumn. Texas returns three more starting five-star players up front in addition to Banks: fifth-year senior centre Jake Majors and former five-star DJ Campbell. Majors is one of the nation’s more reliable centres with 41 career starts.
Position coach Kyle Flood has done a great job developing depth in his offensive line (OL) room. Former blue-chip signee Cam Williams, an Oregon native by birth, will take over at right tackle.
The rankings also included Georgia, Alabama, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Missouri, Miami, Tennessee, and Ole Miss.
