DeMar DeRozan Says Something About The NBA’s Future
In the NBA, DeMar DeRozan has spent 15 seasons playing.
Unbelievably, DeMar DeRozan has spent 15 seasons as an NBA player. He still managed to average 24.0 points, 5.3 assists, and 4.3 rebounds this season on 48/33/85 shooting from the field, in spite of the miles.
DeRozan doesn’t want to play in the NBA, despite the fact that he still appears to have five more years left in him.
"I'm going to be honest with you…I don't want to play for 20 years…Just from the standpoint of like, missing my kids, and I kind of love being normal at times."@DeMar_DeRozan on if he could play in the #NBA for another 5 years pic.twitter.com/92FTLKTV1E

DeRozan talked about how long he wants to stay in the NBA during an appearance on FanDuel TV’s Run It Back program. He doesn’t want to reach season 20, even though he doesn’t know how many.
“I’m going to be honest with you, I don’t want to play 20 years,” DeRozan stated. “No, I don’t. Simply said, I kind of adore being normal sometimes and I miss my kids. Twenty years is a long time. I’m too invested in the game. I would never wish to use gaming cheats. When I turn 20 years old, I just…”
Unless it’s a one- or two-year contract, there’s a good probability that this future contract will be DeMar DeRozan’s last one given this schedule. Although DeRozan is free to sign with any team this season, he and the Chicago Bulls are interested in doing so.
DeMar DeRozan seems to be able to play till he is 20 years old at this point in his career. When that last year comes will only be known with time.
