Knoxville, Tennessee – The 2024 WNBA season enters the last days of June, with action returning across the league on Tuesday night following a Monday off to begin the week.
A trio of different clubs include former Lady Vols on their rosters. The Seattle Storm’s guard Jordan Horston and centre Mercedes Russell are teammates. Their team now ranks second in the Western Conference and fourth overall in the league, with a 10-6 record.
Guard Diamond DeShields and forward Isabelle Harrison are on the Chicago Sky, while guard/forward Rae Burrell and rookie forward Rickea Jackson play for the Los Angeles Sparks.

Rae Burrell (2018-22) has played 14 games for the Sparks this season, including 22 minutes in back-to-back games against New York on June 20 and 22. She set a 2024 high of 11 points, four rebounds, four assists, and a steal against the Liberty on June 20, and then added nine points, two assists, two steals, and a board two nights later. She’s averaging 4.3 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 10.9 minutes per game so far.

Isabelle Harrison

Isabelle Harrison (2011-15) has appeared in 11 games during her first active season with the Sky. After missing last season due to injury, she is averaging 5.8 points and 3.2 rebounds in 14.0 minutes per game. Harrison’s most recent appearance was a 12-minute stint against Indiana on June 23. She had four points and four rebounds. On June 6, she recorded career highs of 14 points and seven rebounds at Washington.
Jordan Horston, a 6-foot-2 forward for the Seattle Storm, is currently in his second season.
Jordan Horston (2019-23), in her second season in the league, averages 7.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.8 steals, and 1.4 assists in 22.0 minutes per game for the Storm. She has recovered really well after off-season shoulder surgery. Horston is coming off a season-high 18-point effort on June 19 in Las Vegas, where she made six of ten field-goal attempts and added six rebounds, three assists, a block, and a steal. Since June 13, the second-year pro has scored in double figures in her last four games.
Rickea Jackson

Rickea Jackson (2022-24) has made an impressive debut as a professional, featuring in all 17 of the Sparks’ games. Jackson has made 12 starts and averages 9.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 23.4 minutes per game, shooting 46.3 percent from the field and 79.1 percent from the free throw line. Her greatest performance of the season came against Minnesota on June 14, when she scored 19 points on 6-of-10 shooting and recorded her first WNBA double-double with 10 rebounds. It was also one of eight double-digit point performances in 2024 for the LVFL.
Mercedes Russell

Mercedes Russell (2013-18) is still a dominant presence in the paint in her eighth season with Seattle. She has played 15 games, averaging 4.0 points and 3.1 rebounds while shooting 58.1 percent from the field in 15.8 minutes per game. Russell recorded four points and four rebounds in nine minutes against Connecticut on June 23. Her scoring highs include eight points versus Washington and New York on May 19 and 20, respectively, and seven rebounds against Washington on May 25.
